Welcome to our Halloween Edition Newsletter, 2017.
WA Open - Our Excursion was a fantastic Experience for the Academy with over 80 kids from SMGA, Glenn Paul Golf and Port Kennedy Golf Club the Saturday saw kids everywhere at Royal Perth, after speaking to some of the players they appreciated us out and about on the course. Term Fees - please a quick reminder that all term 4 fees are now due.
Christmas Break-up Day- This year our Break-up day will be Saturday 16th December, time will be from 10-1pm, with BBQ, Presentations and a little bit of FUN. This year I want to see everyone there having a laugh, hitting some golf balls and having fun.
Drive 360 - Aaron Doyle owner operator of Drive 360 is looking to open a Performance Gym down South, he currently operates North of the River but can see a need for one in our area. Drive360 has a very successful program, this program has proven successful with the PGA & LPGA players he works with on a weekly basis. We are asking for you feedback. I caught up with Aaron at the Open and we had a little conversation about what we felt was missing down South. If Drive360 was to open down South would it be something that you may consider using throughout your golfing journey.? please respond to this email regarding the golf fitness program idea. please click on the link above and look through his site. Melville Golf Centre- coring and renovations are being done this week, the short course greens have been scarified last week and going through the coring process today. The short course greens will take 2-3 weeks to fully recover, just in time for the US Kids event on the 19th. The driving range will be cored and fertilized over the next few days to have a better grass cover for summer and into winter 2018. The new lights have been installed and certainly add a lot more light across the range, they will be adjusted once they settle to hit more of the tee. The putting green has started to fire and should be operational around Christmas time, a few sunny days will see the grass really strike. US Kids Golf - Follow the link and enter for the series that will be starting Sunday 19th November at MGC, its a promo event only but has age groups for all academy kids. US Kids Golf is trying hard to gain momentum into 2018 and with our support to events in WA, such as MYGolf, WA Event & US Kids it shows we are keen to play everywhere and anywhere.
Rules Certificate - The Academy is looking to enhance its players by having our HP Junior & Senior Squads do the Rules Certificate. This will give the players a better understanding when it come tournament time, hoping they can help out their playing partners in the process. If you keen to do the course log on and take the challenge. It can only benefit all of us to understand the rule of golf a little better.

Adult Clinics Our Beginner Clinic on Wednesday mornings 9-10am is Full, our 10-11amPlayers Clinic also is Full. NEW TIME - our Friday "FIXIT" class has grown rapidly, Friday $20 walk-in class, each week we cover a theme (eg: sandplay). We now conduct this Clinic from 9-10am Fridays,
I now have some allocated times for Adults and Children to have private lessons. If you are interested in having a private session please contact me on - 0421 829 457.

Our adults clinics are up and running again and days are as follows.
Monday: 7-8pm (on hold) Wednesday: 9-10 am FULL Wednesday: 10-11am FULL Thursday: 6:30-7:30 pm Friday: 9-10am (new Friday "Fixit" session) all clinics are $20 and no bookings required.
SGA Tour Events
If there are any Adults or Children who would like to join a tour, we regularly hold events throughout WA, follow the below link for more options, The SGA Tour is heading into its busy time across Australia with so many big events happening on the East Coast, if you would like to be apart of those or just read up about SGA follow the link provided. Have a look at the players page, bio's of the players will be updated over the next few days, The Junior HP Squad and Senior HP Squad have been training under fatigue the past few weeks and the results are showing on the course as the winners below prove this. Its a specialized training squad that I hope all juniors aspire to be in over their relevant time frames in golf.
